The Help button will launch the default Android browser and display this online help file. In addition, the map will no longer be locked to the aircraft position and can be freely moved as required. Once the connection has been disconnected, the aircraft icon will disappear and the HUD will show all 0 display values. The Disconnect button will disconnect any connection between the Android device and the desktop simulator created previously by using the Aircraft Connect button. Prior to a connection being made, the FSWidgets Network Pack must be installed and running on the deskop (Windows or Mac). The Connect button attempts to communicate with the desktop simulator and establish a connection between GMap and simulator. Please note that pinch zoom is not supported at this time. The HUD Toggle button will hide and show a small onsreen HUD display containing current aircraft latitude, longitude, true heading, magnetic heading, altitude and ground speed. Next time an airport search is required, a single tap will take you straight there. Setting the Set this search as favourite checkbox will add the search value as a quick shortcut to the middle button of the Airport Search screen. The map will automatically pan and zoom on the airport ready to add to your flight plan if required. The Airport Search button allows you to zoom in on a specified airport anywhere in the world by entering the ICAO code.
